Is pineapple really capable of burning fat?

Is pineapple a fat burning food? 
My boys, if that were the case we would all be lean and dry in the blink of an eye, without killing ourselves in sports or following a healthy and balanced diet.
Yep, I just debunked this myth ... There is no food that can burn fat, the only effective way to do it is ...
  Guess what ... The infamous calorie deficit!
So where does this misconception regarding pineapple come from?
From the presence of a proteolytic enzyme, bromelain, present in greater quantities in the stem of the pineapple than in the actual fruit, which in addition to "facilitating" the digestion of proteins also has effects
  anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombotic ed  anti-edematous. 
However, no effect was found on fat metabolism, but rather on the reduction of water retention, thus providing us with help in draining excess fluids.

It must be said, however, that the bromelain content of the pineapple, already minimal in the pulp, is also sensitive to temperatures, which is why we should consume freshly harvested pineapple to get the maximum benefit (and unfortunately it is difficult not being a local fruit).
Having said that then
  , eat it quietly like any other fruit, reminding you of the importance and benefits of consuming 5 servings of fresh fruit and vegetables during the day.
